Tables will be set up to pay and register in front of the parking lot at the Ely Veterans Memorial. \nThe raising of the flag at the Ely Veterans Memorial\, with the American Legion and the VFW Commanders\, along with the Ely Honor Guard will have a short Patriotic Program at 10:00 am. \nEly Young Life Carnival will be in Whiteside Park with picnic food in the pavilion and activities for kids\, adults\, and families throughout Whiteside Park from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. \nFighter jets will do a flyover at about noon. \nEly’s famous 4th of July parade will start at 1:00 pm. \nAnd to finish out this day of celebration\, the fireworks will begin at dusk.
