This is a fundraiser for the Student Grant Fund which provides annual grants and scholarships to the students that God leads to OHCC. The course begins and ends on the beautiful lakeshore on campus. In addition to the normal course on paved roads\, you will also enjoy beautiful scenery as you run/walk through portions of wooded trails. This event is for all ages – families that want to do something to support students pursuing a biblical and Christ-centered education\, groups that are looking for something meaningful to support while having fun together getting exercise and enjoying the outdoors\, and for the serious runner looking to add another race to their resume\, or to keep in training.\nFree t-shirt to all who register before the 25th. DESCRIPTION:Homecoming 2024 will be held on Saturday\, September 28th. Alumni\, parents\, students\, families of students\, and friends of OHCC are invited to join them for a day of outdoor activities\, indoor workshops and catching up with friends over coffee and cookies\, live music and an evening BBQ with s’mores around the campfire. The cost is $25 for individuals and $40 for a family. Registration fee includes a t-shirt\, workshops\, snacks and beverages\, all outdoor activities\, the 1 Mile Family Fun Run\, and BBQ dinner meal. \nThe day will kick off with the Run For The Hills 5K fundraiser for the Student Grant Fund beginning at 9:00am which has a separate registration and fee. \nAt 10:00 the 1-mile Family Fun Run begins and is followed by brunch. Enjoy the afternoon with inflatables\, games and activities outside\, and opportunities inside to have a Q & A time with President Giese and other college staff or attend one or more of the free workshops. Watch for Oakie the Alpha Wolf making appearances throughout the day and get your picture with him. Participate in a scavenger hunt\, have your face painted\, enjoy free popcorn\, snacks\, and different beverages throughout the day.
